A MTV divulgou a lista de indicados ao VMA 2025, que acontecerá no dia 7 de setembro, ao vivo da UBS Arena, em Nova York. A premiação celebra artistas que impactaram a indústria musical no último ano.
No Brasil, o pré-show será exibido às 20h no Paramount+ e na Pluto TV (MTV Pluto TV com tradução simultânea, e MTV Biggest Pop com áudio original). A cerimônia começa às 21h, nos mesmos canais.
Lady Gaga lidera com 12 indicações, incluindo Vídeo do Ano e Artista do Ano. Bruno Mars aparece com 11, seguido por Kendrick Lamar (10), ROSÉ e Sabrina Carpenter (8 cada). Ariana Grande e The Weeknd somam 7 cada.
Duas novas categorias estreiam este ano: Melhor Clipe Country e Melhor Artista Pop. Ao todo, são 25 categorias. A votação já está aberta para 19 delas. Música do Ano poderá ser votada de 18 de agosto a 5 de setembro. Artista Revelação segue com votação aberta até o dia da cerimônia.
Fãs também podem votar em Vídeo do Ano, Artista do Ano e Artista Revelação comentando nos posts fixados do Instagram oficial do VMA até 8 de agosto. Entre 7 de agosto e 4 de setembro, das 13h às 14h, os votos no site valem em dobro durante o “Power Hour”.
